Sunday 30th June

I can't believe its the last day of June this month has gone by so fast.
Almost a year has passed since our daughter got married.
I am starting a new knitting project so will add some photos of the finished project soon.
Family are moving tomorrow so I will get my craft room back this week(its been difficult not being able to use all my craft stash I will feel like I've been given a new room ) hopefully my creativity will still be there.

I wish this was my craft room but I can always dream

Sunday 23rd June

Today has been another full on day with working in the afternoon. When did a Sunday become just another day and not a special day for quiet family time........

I have ventured into making Wedding Invites to order and have made some for a friends daughter,

I am also able to custom the inserts to match if needed and although I did find it a bit stressful I did also enjoy the challenge and sense of satisfaction when I had finished.

Tuesday 18th June

What a mad day it started off with oversleeping, this in turn made my son late for work.
I had a strange day with loads of bits and pieces going on at work very busy but not actually achieving anything.
Family are staying with us at the moment and the best part is the cooking so many different things for dinner. I will miss them all when they move. The upside of the family moving will be loads more crafting things to learn and I will be able to try jewellery making and felting and will be able to get back to doing a few other craft projects stored in my head.

 

I really enjoyed making this baby blanket and I also lined it for comfort, I make these to order and they usually take about 3-4 weeks and can make in any colour choice.

Today 17th June 2013

Have had a really mad day at work today the day started at 7am then the school run for 8:15 and then ready for work for 9 hectic.

Had loads to do at work and while moving some bits around managed to drop a shelf on my foot ouch. I am going to have a nasty bruise. I finished up at home with my foot on the sofa (trying to get a bit of sympathy.....it didn't work)

I have made many mental notes of wanted items on pinterest and have a definite to do list.

I have found time to share a picture of one of my creations and am very proud of my achievement. It took me about a week of evening knitting to make this but I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge

Today 16th June 2013

Today has been a mixed day with the weather cloudy then raining and finally sprouting some sun.
I have been relaxing as off work and have picked up and put down knitting needles. I'm not sure at the moment as to why I have no enthusiasm for crafting it may be as I've been so busy playing on the computer in my spare time. I have found pinterest and have got a bit hooked. I found these georgeous paper shoes to make, I just love them just think I could own a pair in any colour I wanted.





If only shoes where this easy I would own hundreds
